I just wanted to know if these boots are insulated and exactly how does the widths go; what does "D" and the "EE" mean. I wanted to know if this product has trinusalte in them.

No, these climbing boots aren't insulated. 'D' width is standard width. 'EE' is our wide. 'EE' is like having the next size up in standard. Remember with all leather boots, they do yield to your feet a bit as they wear in.

They are an excellent tall boot for ground work too. The extra support in the shank is why we recommend that out of all our boots for climbing purposes.

These boots are not waterproof, but they have leather uppers. We do sell water resistant Obenauf's LP Boot Preservative that many use to protect their boots and make them water resistant. As far as exchanging boots, they have to come back in new condition. That means you can't have wear them outside

Red Dawg boots have always been made in Canada, and still are. All the Hoffman boots are made in the USA, as are the Danner boots currently.

They can be rebuilt and resoled. As for walking around in the snow and mud, it's been done, but they are not considered waterproof. If you are looking for something warmer use PAK for a search, or use Waterproof for the search.

Not in the sense that is can snap on and off. However, it is held on with 3 special nails and can be removed or replaced.
