| Q. |
Where can you find the steel side plate when they wear off?
|
| A. |
They used to be available, but the vendors stopped selling them. We called them a "sole guard". If you have the old ones they are held on by 3 nails, so they can be re-attached if it is just the nail heads that have worn off.

I do a lot of cutting in the mountains of WV. Would these boots be good for walking on the hills and stuff that my job presents?
|
| A. |
Although they are climbing boots they do have the same Vibram sole that the standard work boot uses so they are often used as ground boots. The tall heal is idea for walking on hills.

These boots look a lot like Wesco. Is there any difference in these and the Wesco 16" Highliner?

| Q. |
Is the sole protector easy to take off? What would be the best method to remove them?
|
| A. |
Fortunately the side plate sole protector on the Red Dawg Climbers is not easy to remove. Though it can be removed. It would be a good idea to take it to a shoe repair guy to have the best results in removal.

We need to know if we can send boots in for repair to you. We have purchased these boots from you and now they need repaired, asap.
|
| A. |
Bailey's does have a chainsaw repair shop, but nothing to work on boots. Your best choice is to find a reputable cobbler in your area. They'll know how to restore your boots and get you back on the job.
