does the 66" double end bar fit onto a 395 husqvarna and can the 395 on a alaskan mill on its own through soft woods cut 48" wood? Can a 395 and a 372 husqvarna be used on the 66" double ended bar at the same time?

The 395 should do it if you want to take a couple of slabs slowly. You can only tandem like saws, so the 395 and 372 wouldn't pull the same. Like a Clydesdale and a quarter horse.

The mounts come for the Big Stihl, but spacers are included to accommodate the smaller mounts.

Actually the extreme max possible cutting area would be 58". That is all depending on the saw, size of the dogs etc. 48" should be no problem.

No need for a sprocket chain if you are just switching gauges. Ripping chain is recommended for ripping as you'll find a smoother cut than conventional cross cut chain. That curly wood sounds nice, so I'm sure you want to have a cleaner grain showing with less planing when you are done.

I purchased a 66" double end bar from you and use it on my Stihl 880. Now I want to mount two 660's on each end of the bar. The mounts on the bar are too large for the 660's and the oil holes do not line up. The mounts on the 660 are smaller and use 3/8" chain. Do you have a double ended bar that will work for my 660's? Or do you have some sort of adapter so I can use my big mount double ended bar on my 660's? Thanks

When we send out double ended bars, they come with little adapters that are stapled to the sleeve of the bar wrapper. If you still have the sleeve for the big bar, you may have those adapters too. If you don't have them call during our regular business hours and we'll see if we can find you a set.

I purchased a 66" double ended bar from you some time ago. Part # 46745. I'm running a big 880 saw on it. Now I want to run two 660 power heads on this bar. The mounts are different (smaller) and this bar will not fit. I understand some adapters should of come with my bar, but they didn't. Can I purchase these adapters separately? If this is not the solution, then can you suggest a better solution?Thanks
