Molemab Grinding Wheel (5-3/4" x 3/16")

Molemab has been making grinding wheels in Italy since the early 60's and their quality is second to none. We stock Molemab grinding wheels for most Italian and Chinese made chain grinders. These wheels are made of vitrified aluminum oxide material of medium hardness. These wheels are soft enough to remove material quickly, but hard enough to keep their shape. 3/16" thick wheel sharpens all 3/8" pitch (except low profile) and .404 pitch chainsaw chains.

Q.	I have a 100x4.7x16 stone, This is for a 3/8" Chain. I need the same dia. and bore stone for a 3/16" Chain, can you help me out? Carl
A.	We have a wheel (Item # 449 316) that is 100x4.7x22. We've sold these to people with your application before. They've just made arbor adaptors that go from 16mm to 22mm. We don't have a direct bolt on.

Q.	What size is the arbor bore on the Molemab 5 5/8" diameter sharpening wheels. I have a silvey chain sharpener, with a 1" arbor, that I bought new in 1980 that has worked perfectly the entire time, I'm completely out of stones and am not sure if these will work on my grinder? Thanks for your help, Tim
A.	If you have a Silvey 510, or a wheel that measures 6" then you need the 45850. If you have an 8" wheel then in the search field type in SQUARE WHEEL for our full selection. All these wheels have a 1" arbor. The above wheel has a 7/8" arbor and will not work on a Silvey.

Q.	Do you have, or can you get 4-1/4" diameter wheels. I need one for 3/8 pitch. It goes on a Harbor Freight sharpener. Thanks~
A.	Sorry, but our wheels only come with a 7/8" arbor.

Q.	In ref to previous question in FAQS, I was asking about outside diameter, not arbor. This is the correct arbor size, and for this item to work, I would need to grind down the total diameter to about 4 3/4, to not burn up the outer housing on my grinder. Thanks for your great items and speedy replies.
A.	In a last resort situation you could dress the stone down to that size.

Q.	Is this the right grinding wheel for Oregon 72CL .050 Gauge chain?
A.	They will not work if you want to keep it square chisel, this wheel would essentially make it a 72LGX chain. If you type "SQUARE WHEEL" in the search field you will see our selection. They are 8" wheels with a 1" arbor made for the Silvey Grinders.

Q.	I Have a FL 136 Sharpener. I am looking for grinding stones, the numbers on the old stone are as follows, which is Molemab 378268 11A060 mo5v86 145. 4,7.22,20 m13 the wore down size is about 4.5" I think it'sto be a 5.75" wheel it is also 3/16" thick. Thank You
A.	Yes, these are the same Molemab wheels for your FL 136 Sharpener. These wheels will sharpen .375 (3/8) chain and .404 pitch chain.

Q.	I have an EFCO 36941 FL6 The grinding wheel on it is an Fl64 for 3/8" .404 Chains There is a number 88A80M5V217 on the wheel as well. Also, 145X4,7x22,1(5,7"x3/16") Could you explain what the 145X4....information is? and do you carry a replacement wheel? Thanks
A.	First, keep in mind that the Europeans switch the usage of commas and periods. So that 4,7 is really 4.7 which is the mm of 3/16 . Likewise the 145 is mm for 5.7 which is the wheel diameter. Yes we do have wheels that will suit. #45511 for 3/16 grinding wheel.
