It is easy to use, compact and powerful, and grinds all types of saw chain except 3/4" pitch harvester. Grinder has an easy clamping device to keep grinding angles precise and accurate.. It will bolt down on a work bench so you can drape your chain loops over the edge for ease of production. Perfect chain grinder for homeowners and occasional chain saw users. Instructions included. Q.	Does this grinder also allow the user to correct depth gauges?
A.	It wasn't designed to do rakers. It's not recommended but, it's been done.

Q.	Will this sharpen chisel Oregon 59CJ?
A.	No, square chisel chain requires a special grinder to maintain the original grind. We offer a couple grinders from Silvey, item # 49300 and SC PS. You can use this grinder on that chain if you want to convert it to round ground chain.

Q.	Will this grinder grind ripping chain at 10 degree angle ?
A.	Yes, the head can be set from 0 to 35 degrees in both directions.

Q.	What is included with the grinder, dressing stone, number and size wheels?
A.	This grinder comes with the 1/8 inch wheel for 1/4" pitch, Low Profile (91 or Picco chain) and .325 chain. The dressing brick is not included (See: 46450). If you need to file larger chain you will need the 3/16 wheel, item # 449 316.

Q.	I have a Speedmaster grinder and want to replace the wheel. Do you sell a replacement wheel? Please advise on the part umber. I use the grinder for 3/8 standard and .404 ripping chain.
A.	You need item # 449 316.

Q.	Will the speed master sharpen Husqvarna 455 Rancher chains.
A.	Yes, it will sharpen any round chisel chain up to the 404 pitch. You will need to order the 3/16" wheel for your chain: item # 449 316.

Q.	What is plastic and what is metal on this grinder. Are the jaws that hold the chain hardened or heat treated so they don''t take a set? Also, does the upper arm with the motor change angles other than up and down?
A.	Basically everything covering the motor is plastic, which hasn't been an issue, because the motor is quality. The jaws are hardened and the motor arm is fixed (can not change angles).

Q.	Does this sharpen .375 x .050 Stihl chain?
A.	Yes, it can sharpen any saw chain. For 375 chain you would need to purchase the 449 316 (3/16") wheel.

Great Grinder

I received my Grinder Yesterday, had it put together in 20 Min. I sharpened 6 Chains last night in less then 1/2 Hour, what a Great Grinder. I went out and tried a Chain, man did it cut nice. I was a little disappointed in it being Plastic, but seems to Work Great.
