Husqvarna has had a few different manufacturers for their helmets over the years, many of which was made by Peltor. There are just to many variables to give you a yes or no answer.

This model does not, but item 2600 does have an input for MP3 players.

My Peltor Worktunes lasted slightly less then 3 months. I work at a mill, so they did not get wet or slammed around, but the wire connection somehow worked loose (if you jiggled it sound would resume) and a few days later, nothing. Peltor has been going down hill, so I am changing to Bluetooth which seems to transmit well through regular ear muff protectors. Too bad, Peltor used to make a good product.

I have been using the older version of the Peltor Worktunes on my climbing helmet for at least 4 years and they have been great and taken a real hammering. Thinking mine where getting a little long in the tooth after many hits, wet days (not recommended) and general abuse I brought a set of these newer ones. (At a great price from Bailey's) They were great, the controls were easy and didn't get bumped to easily (better than the older model) and the sound quality was very good. As usual the Peltors offered great noise reduction and were very comfortable and very light. But after 3 weeks of use on side started cutting out. Then by another 2 weeks the other side went dead. I had been careful not to get them wet, and I dont think they had been treated harshly. I took them apart but couldnt work out the problem. Now im back to using my old peltor work tunes that are still rock'n. I have had such great use out of the various peltor products I have in the past, im willing to buy another pair as its possible I got a dud. My only complaint with this model is that it didnt survive 2 months of use when my old ones have taken over 4 years of abuse and daily 8 hour day use. I even sometimes wear them in the workshop while grinding or generally working so I can listen to the radio.
