I would like to purchase the #21790 pruner head combo. However, I need 16-18 ft. I know this item comes with 2 poles that are 6 ft. each. If I purchase the 6 ft. hollow core pole #21661, would I be able to add length to the #21790?

I have a old Seymour Smith No.12 pole pruner with heavy wooden pole which are tapered at the end to accept either pruner or saw head 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 larger diameter. The connection between the two poles is similar to the Marvin poles. I would like to know if these fiberglass poles will work with my antique pruner and saw head or do they make an adapter to use for this transition? I would like lighter poles and be able to add extra extensions.

Sorry, but there is no adapter for your pruner to work with the Marvin.

The Fanno blades fit the Jameson system. Three poles is fairly common. However, the SILKY HAYAUCHI at 21' would be more rigid and reach the 25' limbs.

Three is pretty common, four is not unheard of, but the important point to remember is more pole equals more flex. You can get away with more on a pruning head. For the most rigid system out there for a pole saw search HAYAUCHI.

I have a Stihl pole pruner. I need an extension. Do you know if this extension will work with my Stihl poles? Stihl makes an extension, but I thought maybe these are the same size.

Here are the specs: Male OD is 1.25", Female ID 1.29" and OD 1.41", Top of Ferrule to center of the locking hole is 1.92", while the center hole is 5/8" long. If all these specs match it will work with your pole.
