Q.	Does this tester require water to be added for the test so phase separation occurs, or does it use some other test method eg specific gravity?
A.	Yes, it uses water so phase separation occurs.

Q.	The description states this item is reusable, how many individual tests can one item perform? Thanks.
A.	It's a glass vile with a plastic top. There are really no wear parts.

Ethanol fuel tester-Works Great!

Got the tiny tester yesterday, and did a test on some gasoline I have from a conventional non-RFG fuel source. Tester is small but very simple to use, just fill with water to the line, the add gasoline to be tested up to the vial neck. Give a good shake and sit upright on level surface for 5 minutes. The water will draw out the the ethanol from the gasoline, and the separation line will tell you how much % ehtanol in the sample, simple. If none, the separation line remains at the water fill line. The scale on the vial gives 10% or 85% separation points. Vial is durable glass, not fragile as you would think. Thanks Bailey's - you're the best.
