Pferd CS-X Chain Sharp Filing Guide - 13/64"

New for 2010! Just like the old Chain Sharp filing guide where you sharpen your chain and take down your rakers in one pass. Yet, for the previous version the user had to take it apart and change files to switch from sharpening left teeth to right. With the CS-X model you simply flip the tool over. The design of this filing guide takes the guess work out of getting the right angles. Even for the novice there are symbols for saw, saw tooth and arrows for file direction. Comes complete with files, pouch and detailed instructions. 13/64" File Guide sharpens 3/8 pitch chainsaw chain. This smaller diameter file leaves a thinner top plate on the cutter, which makes for a faster cutting chain, but one that will dull quicker. Standard round files work with this guide. Works on full comp chain only.

Q.	The catalog says there is a video of this item, is there? Does it have any type of guide to keep the angels correct?
A.	The Pferd Chain Sharp CS-X does come with detailed instructions. Our current 2010 Christmas Catalog doesn't mention a video. These Pferd guides are easy to use.

Q.	Is the file holder able to hold various size files, or is each one file specific?For example: can it hold a 13/64 as well as a 7/32 or would each size cs-x need to be purchased?
A.	It sounds like a good plan, but the holding hole is specific to the file size. So if you got a file guide for a 5/32 application, the 7/32 file would be too big and vise versa, the 5/32 would slop around in the Pferd CS-X Chain Sharp Filing Guide meant for a 7/32 file.
