Work Safe Full-Wrap Chainsaw Safety Chaps

The latest innovation in safety protection. These "full-wrap" chaps cover the front and sides of the upper leg. Plus, the lower portion completely encircles the lower leg and calf, below the knee. These protective chaps have 1,000 Denier blaze orange nylon covering, two layers of DuPont KEVLAR and two layers of polyester felt. The adjustable belt is 2" (5 cm), wide and the adjustable leg straps are 1" (2.5 cm), wide with quick snap fasteners. Waist strap is adjustable from 26" to 48". A 12" belt extender is available separately (recommended for waists 44" and above). Meets BNQ/CUL Class B standards 1923-450-M91, ASTM F-1897-2008 specification for leg protection and U.L Approved.

WAIST SIZES:
All chaps have an adjustable waist band from 28" up to 44. If you need a larger waist size see the optional belt extender under "Related Items" (below) or search part number 501 EXT.
How to measure for your new chaps
Chaps are measured from the top of your belt down to the top of your foot. Just hook a tape measure in your trousers and let it fall to the ground. It's that easy!

A.	The manufacturer recommends washing by hand and hang to dry.

Q.	Do you measure the length on safety chaps from the belt or the crotch?
A.	Chaps are measured from the top of the belt to the bottom of the chaps. Most chaps are worn "high water", so they should come just below the top of your boots.

Q.	What are the length equivalents in inches for regular, long, extra long etc?
A.	All sizes are measured from the waist band down (not inseam). Size RG is 32" overall, size LG is 34", size XL is 36", size 2X is 40" overall length.

Q.	Do these chaps meet the US Forest Service Specification 6170-4F?
A.	They do not but we will soon be offering chaps that meet those specs. We will let you know when we do.

Q.	Do you have the chaps that meet the Forest Service specifications yet? Please see question from July of 2009.
A.	The Labonville chaps meet the USFS Requirements 11BF. We started carrying that line the end of 2009.
