How to measure for your new chaps:
Chaps are measured from the top of your belt down to the top of your foot. Just hook a tape measure in your trousers and let it fall to the ground. It's that easy!
WAIST SIZES:
All chaps have an adjustable waist band from 28" up to 44. If you need a larger waist size see the optional belt extender under "Related Items" (below) or search part number 501 EXT.
LEG WIDTH:
These chaps are 15" (37cm), wide at their widest spot on each leg.
LENGTHS:
Regular: 28" Pad, 32" Overall Length
Long: 30" Pad, 34" Overall Length
X-Long: 32" Pad, 36" Overall Length
2X-LONG: 36" Pad, 40" Overall Length
Meets BNQ/CUL Class B standards and U.L Approved.

Sorry for the delayed response but, I had to do some investigation. The 132 GRN do not meet the specs you quoted because they don't offer rear calf protection.

I don't know how well these perform compared to the other Higher priced brands as far as durability is concerrned or safety. But I do know that the Woodland Pro Chaps have taken a severe pounding in the 3+ years that I've owned them,one thing I am not,is,easy on anything that I own. I'm buying another pair because my 3 year olds just saved me a trip to the E.R. ,you know the drill it's late your getting tired and you just want to readjust your grip on the machine so you use your knee to rest the machine on for that split second that it'll take you,and yep,15-20 stiches later your back home.Well these things dropped the RPM's from run down speed(On the high side) to ZERO,before I even knew they had been touched. If anyone wants to know how the High Priced Chaps hold out compared to these just send me a pair and I'll be more than willing to let you know.

An Essential Piece of Chainsaw Safety Equipment

I debated whether to get a pair of chaps, but I am sure glad I did. While cutting a tree on Memorial Day Weekend (2011) the chainsaw hit another part of the tree and kickback occurred. The saw still running hit the chaps and the chaps stopped the saw before much damage was done to my lower leg. I had to have 7 stitches but without the chaps I don't know what damage would have been done. I need to order another pair and I will before I use the chainsaw again. Another clothing article you should consider would be chainsaw boots. If I had been wearing them I'm sure the saw would not have penetrated the boot/chaps.
These were the first chaps I have purchased but I liked the fit and the durability of the material. The price is excellent for the safety it provides. Don't use a chainsaw without this protection.

Just had a small 8 inch tree take a weird turn and knock the saw back against my knee while the saw was running down. It happened in less than a split second and the chaps stopped the saw with NO injury, except for the chaps. Anyone cutting, even a tree or 2, should have these. Compare the price to a trip to the ER.
