16" WoodlandPRO Carver Professional Carving Bar (85 Drive Links) Quarter Tip

Choose our very popular WoodlandPRO Carver 16" Carving bar. It is made of high quality steel and have stellite welded around the nose area to reduce wear. Our 16" bar runs best with 1/4" chain (85 drive links), but other small pitch chains will work. 16" Carving bars fit Echo, Poulan, Stihl, Makita electric and small Husky saws only. Most saws use the drive link configuration noted, but there are some exceptions.

If this bar is going on a Husqvarna 335, 340, 245, 346, 350, or 351, it will take 86 drive links.

Q.	I have a Poulin 2150 Is there a 14in or 16 in carving bar quarter size available ? I am unable to find a 1/4 sprocket so I will need to run a 3/8 pitch chain.
A.	The Woodsman Carver bars has a "universal" mount that works on almost all small to mid size saws, yours included. The 3/8" pitch chain will wear the bar quickly and void the bar warranty.

Q.	Will this bar fit a Stihl MS 310? If so how many drive links do you think it will take?
A.	No, the bar studs of your saw are too large. For the Stihl brand this bar works on the 250 (025) and smaller, with the exception of the 240 (024).

Q.	Can you run a .325 chain on this bar?
A.	You can, but the bar life will be shorter and it voids the factory warranty. There are some carvers who do use 325 on these bars.
