WoodlandPro X-series chain is made with Oregon LG type cutters on a heavy duty chassis to give you one fast cutting chain. Chisel cutters work well in both softwoods and hardwoods. 30XC works best in clean cutting conditions, where there is limited contact with dirt and other abrasive materials. Chain is .375 pitch x .050 gauge. 30XC fits saws using Oregon 72 series and Stihl 33 series chain. 30XC chain sharpens with a 7/32" round file or 3/16" grinding wheel.

Q.	When you say heavy duty chassis could that mean that this chain will exhibit less frequent stretching than a regular chain with the same style cutters and used in the same manner on same saw? Are the Oregon LG cutters of a harder material than the Carlton's? I am looking for a chisel chain that stays sharp as long as possible and stretches as little as possible. I know, I know, I want my cake and eat it too Thanks.
A.	The 30XC chain is made of the old style Oregon LG cutter with a Windsor chassis. Oregon cutters are softer (relatively) than those of Carlton. Many people prefer this "soft" chain for easy & fast hand filing. The Carlton 30RC will stay sharper longer than this chain, but is a little harder to file ...
