30RC is the most popular WoodlandPRO chain sold here at Bailey's. Chisel cutters work well in both softwoods and hardwoods. 30RC works best in clean cutting conditions, where there is limited contact with dirt and other abrasive materials. Chain is .375 pitch, .050 (1.3mm) gauge. 30RC fits saws using Oregon 72 and Stihl 33 series chain. 30RC chain sharpens with a 7/32" round file or 3/16" grinding wheel.

Q.	Why have prices gone up so much on bars and chains?
A.	Prices on metal and transportation are creeping up. I think that affects everything from a cup of coffee to bars and chains. There has been a buy out/merger of Carlton and Windsor to Blount which is the mother company of Oregon. Carlton made our house brand chain.

I've used Oregon and the OEM Stihl chains but I think this chain beats them all. Of course, the price is right, too. These chains seem to stay sharper compared to the others mentioned and the quality if as good as theirs. I go thru all the chains I use daily and touch up and/or sharpen on a bench chain grinder. These last as long as the others if not longer. And yes, these really cut fast.

I have used STIHL and OREGON chains on every size saw that I have and none of them can compare to these chains. This is by far the best chain I've used. Right out of the box it is extremely sharp and it cuts really fast. It is very easily sharpened by a file or grinder. I would highly recommend this chain to any serious tree cutters.

Great chain at a good price

This chain cuts very well and stays that way. I feel it is more durable than Oregon chain and probably every bit as good as Stihl RSC. The great thing is you get this performance for less money. It doesn't have witness marks on the cutters, but that makes no matter to me as I run all my chains through on my bench grinder.

30 RC Woodland Pro

This is a chain that I would recommend to anyone who needs a chain that cuts fast and is durable. Even with repeated sharpings this chain performs extremly well. It is far superior to the OEM chisel tooth that I have been using (Stihl). The best feature of this chain is that it is made in the USA. A strong selling point for me!

Decent chain!

This chain over all is decent. It seems to have a thicker coating of the hard metal on the cutters so it stays sharp longer than Oregon chains I've used. Out of box it was not so great but when I filed it now it rips through wood like crazy and stays sharp even through mud on my wood. Chain also did not seem to stretch too much either. Not a bad chain. I would buy again although I think the Oregon 72 link chains are the best as far as the faster cutters.
