This fast cutting chain is a proven performer, right out of the box. Round chisel cutters work well in both softwoods and hardwoods. 38RC works best in clean cutting conditions, where there is limited contact with dirt and other abraisive materials. 38RC fits saws using Oregon 73 series chain. 38RC chain sharpens with a 7/32" round file or 3/16" grinding wheel.
