Made for those loggers with protection in mind. These boots meet ASTM F1818 chainsaw protection as well as CE Class 2 for chainsaw resistance. For the steel toe it meets Class 1 for the toe and plate. For those that have the added hazard of electricity these boots also meet the CSA Omega Electric Shock Resistance standard. Nitrile oil, chemical and slip resistant lug sole too. They didn't forget you have to wear them for long days and they are made from NBR rubber with a cotton canvas lining. There is Achilles tendon and metatarsal protection too. Cinching it up is a cinch with the rubber lace collar with safety reflective stripe.
Is this boot Canadian Green Tree certified?It's CE Class 2, right?

This boot is CE class two. However a boot has to have a CE class 3 level (highest level) to be "Green Tree" certified. See VW58 for the Class 3 level boot that Viking carries that also has this boot's basic features.
