Replace your rusty muffler for a lot less than OEM. These aftermarket mufflers are hard to tell from the original ones, and those of you who enjoy muffler modifications can now do them inexpensively. Muffler comes with spark arrester. Originally designed to fit the 362-372 saws only, we throw in an adapter plate so it fits the 385/390/2186 saws also. Q.	Hi, I purchased one of these mufflers but no adaptor was supplied. Is this because the mufflers have changed as the bracket now sits approx 2.5mm away from it's mountings on the 371/2 etc? Thankyou.
A.	No they don't have primer bulbs.

Q.	Is there a recommended gasket that should also be purchased when changing to this muffler on a 390xp considering the adaptor plate?
A.	The recommended gasket is #HVP 503775901 and heat shield #HVP 537086201.

Q.	Does this include the lower bracket?
A.	This is the muffler, there are no brackets, but an adapter plate to fit some older chainsaws.

cheap muffler

the cheap paint melts of within the firt few consecutive tanks of fuel which also gives off a bad odur like huffing paint. the spark arrest bolt on the top will just vibrate through the cheap metal , causing the exhaust to blow directly through a large whole left by the screw. it will melt a whole through the plastic cover over the muffler and blow exhasut on your hands which was nice in the winter but the smell of exhaust was too much Much better to pay more and get the offical husqvarna
