Oregon 14" PowerSharp Starter Kit (52dl)

The starter kit includes everything you need to get started with the PowerSharp precision saw chain sharpening system. Bar-mount sharpener is small, lightweight, and portable. It simply clamps easily to bar tip. The specialized PowerSharp guide bar has the alignment and latch pin holes required for use with the bar-mount sharpener. The chain is high tech too and features top-sharpening cutter design that can be sharpened in seconds, with the bar-mount sharpener. All PowerSharp chain is low-kickback per ANSI B175.1 & CSA Z62.3.

PowerSharp system will not work on conventional bars and chains. Also not recommended for electric chainsaws.

How PowerSharp Works

Steel pins in the bar-mount sharpener slide through the twin guide holes in the PowerSharp bar, ensuring perfect alignment between cutter and the crescent-shaped sharpening stone.
As the chain moves through the bar-mount sharpener, the unique top-sharpening cutters contact the stone, which hones them to knife-edge sharpness.
The guidance drive link works together with the cutter and depth gauge to provide the stability required to create a precision cutting edge.
The diamond-coated dresser link resurfaces the stone, ensuring flat cutter to stone contact.

This bar uses 52 drive links of 3/8" low profile PowerSharp chain - ORF PS52

How PowerSharp Works
