Oregon Bench Mounted Mini Grinder (115 Volt)

This compact grinder is a great alternative to full sized bench grinders. Although it doesn't have the size and power to grind through piles of chain a day, it does an excellent job of sharpening chains for the casual user. It comes with one 3/16" grinding wheel for sharpening standard 3/8" pitch chains and .404" pitch chains. It also comes with a wheel-dressing brick, and a template for pitch, depth-gauge setting, and wheel contour. It will sharpen most 1/4", .325", and mini 3/8"-pitch chains with the purchase of an 1/8" wheel. Runs on standard 115 volt power.

Q.	Can I use the Mini Grinder to sharpen the Injecta Sharp Carbide Chain down to a ripping Chain?
A.	Yes, it can be done with a bunch of small bites. With the size wheel that comes on it, it would be easy to over heat the chain if too much was ground off at a time.

Q.	Is this grinder fully adjustable for angle? Is it made of all metal? Can it be used to cut the rakers?
A.	This Oregon Mini grinder is set for the basic grinding angle for most chain. So it won't take down the rakers. The outside components are plastic.

Q.	Will this sharpen ripping chains?
A.	Sorry, this mini chain grinder is for basic chain sharpening. Sharpening ripping chain requires a more acute angle of 10 degrees.
