Makita 12-1/4" Beam Planer
The power and accuracy that you expect from Makita. This exuberant 15 AMP motor with 12,000 RPM provides for the most demanding jobs. Poly "V" belt designed with grooves efficiently transfers power from the motor to the blades.The front roller for easy moving over rough materials. It has a large ejection chute which provides a high rate of chip discharge and helps prevent clogging from wet or dry wood chips. Ideal cord location and length (33 ft.) helps prevent obstruction during long and repeated passes. The rubberized front handle for comfort, control, and reduced operator fatigue. The conveniently located depth setting knob is large for easy adjustment. Located at rear of base there is a foot which protects planer base and blades from becoming damaged. Guide rule is handy for accurate and maximum use of planing width. For maintenance convenience Externally accessible brushes for easier serviceability. The ball bearing construction is a must for longer tool life.
