Rock Exotica boast this 3 stage auto-lock Rocksteel carabiner to be the only USA made steel carabiner that is certified NFPA G. You'll find that the heat treated frame results in a 20% lighter carabiner which is also rated at 44kN. It uses the Keylock snag-free design and has a larger than normal gate opening. The auto-locking sleeve is a pull down design which is the most intuitive and most preferred by users. It spite of its great strength, the sleeve is smaller diameter than typical steel carabiners which allows it to fit in and pass through almost anything.
