The SH230 Soloplaner surfaces and rips the lumber to the specified width in one single operation. This is made possible by the 9" (230 mm) wide cutterhead that has a circular saw blade fitted directly to its side. The cutterhead and circular saw blade rotate at a speed of 6000 rpm, which gives a quality result both on the planed and the sawn surfaces. In addition, the SH230 Soloplaner cutterhead has slots for a multitude of horizontal profile knives. There are several types of mouldings you can produce. The moulding knives can be utilized at the same time as the planing knives and the circular saw blade.
