Logosol BS350 Electric Bandsaw
In order to make it light weight, the bandsaw as a chassis of cast aluminum. The wheels are also made of aluminum, which gives a low rotational mass that is easily started and stopped. The bandsaw runs on a carriage with ball bearings which move along the guide rail of the Logosol Sawmill. The saw blade is lubricated and cooled with water.Logosol recommends that you can cut the slabs with a chainsaw if the log has been in contact with sand or soil. This is also necessary when you are sawing logs thicker than 16". The electric motor of 5kW is of the same type as the motor in the electric saw E5000, and it is equipped with double overheating protection. Logosol's bandsaw comes with five 108-3/4" x 1-5/16" x 1/16" blades. The hardened teeth have a pitch of 7/8". The advantages of the bandsaw is that it saws more than twice as fast as a chainsaw, and the kerf is only 1/16", which can be advantageous which you are sawing valuable sorts of wood.
