Complete top end for your chainsaw. Cylinder assembly includes a piston, rings, piston pin, piston pin bearing, circlips, and cylinder. Gaskets and compression valve are sold separately. We recommend using a piston ring clamp set when changing pistons.

Q.	does kit contain everything i need to rebuild my 440 i have no compression in my saw
A.	You probably can reuse your muffler gasket and that will be all you need.

Q.	Here is a weird question i am by no means a small engine wrench i have been in logging all my life how hard would it be to rebuil my 440 with this kit in hand
A.	For the novice I would recommend reading some books on trouble shooting. Anybody can rebuild it, as simply taking apart and putting back in reverse order but figuring out what happened to the saw is a different story. Anybody can rebuild it, as simply taking apart and putting back in reverse order but figuring out what happened to the saw is a different story. Most people just rebuild and don't figure out what the original problem was so the cylinder that goes on just burns up the same and then they blame the cylinder as junk. Yet, it is pretty straight forward once they understand the reason why the saw blew up in the first place. (Hide full answer)
