Q.	are cc more important or horsepower when selecting a chainsaw?
A.	For the most part cc's (displacement) and horsepower (torque) are relative. To achieve more horsepower per cc, requires higher costs during manufacture. The power to weight ratio is a good way of understanding the value. The more horsepower per pound, the more expensive the saw will be.

Q.	I own a 455 Rancher and love it. However, it gets a bit heavy delimbing and cutting smaller trees. What is the weight difference between the two? Could I put a 14" bar on this model as well? Thanks so much for answering ALL my questions, I ask a lot.
A.	The weight difference is 3.7lbs. between the Husqvarna 455 Rancher and the 435 chainsaw. Yes, you can put a 14" bar on the 435 chainsaw. Though strangely enough we only have 13" bars to suit that size. Search 13 sj50 for a choices.
