16" Cannon CCA-H1-16-50 Arborist Tip Carving Bar - 1-7/8" Nose Tip
Cannon offers a wide range of carving bars with different tip sizes. Precision ground groove is accurate to within 0.002 of an inch for straight even cutting. Individually centered rails allow for even rail wear and longer bar and chain life. The precision squared rails enhance speed and smoothness of cut, and helps allow chain to run straight and true. For superior wear resistance, the rails are flame tempered to at least 5 points harder than that of chainsaw chain tie straps. The cobalt tipped nose remains very hard, even at high temperatures, enabling it to keep its shape for much longer than steel. This enhances cutting performance and increases bar life. Cannon carving bars are hand made for the ultimate quality that has been Cannon Bar Works cornerstone for more than 50 years. Cannon carving bars are made from custom alloy steel that has been heat treated to the ideal hardness for maximum strength and wear resistance. The attractive gunmetal finish acts as a rust prohibitive with enhanced bonding characteristics. This finish looks great and will stay on longer than paint. This Cannon 16" bar runs best with 1/4" chain (86 drive links), but other small pitch chains will work.
