Skull Bucket Cap Style Aluminum Hard Hat The aluminum hard hat is back! The cap style Skull Bucket Aluminum Hard Hat is very similar to the old Mac-T aluminum hard hats that were produced several years ago but it's greatly improved for safety. This new hat complies with the ANSI Z89.1-2003 standards. It's a Type 1, Class C helmet that includes a four point ratchet suspension that fits comfortably and snugly on your head. Available in three popular colors: hi-viz orange, yellow (remember the "Alaska Jack"?) and our all-time customer favorite — traditional unpainted aluminum. NOTE: DO NOT use near electrical hazards.

Q.	Are these hard hats made in USA?
A.	Greetings - No, they are not made in the USA. To our knowledge there are no ANSI Z89.1-2003, Type 1, Class C metal hats made in the USA at this time. They all come from overseas.

A.	#35605 The Peltor made hearing protector. Mean to fit under hard hats.

the hard hat for those who hate wearing hard hats.

This hat is very light, very comfortable, and the suspension is first rate. It has a wide leather-like brow piece that is stitched in place along the bottom edge and loose at the top. It is cut tightly, almost too small but this keeps the plastic part of the band away from your skin. You can snug the adjuster up for a good firm fit with out the usual tight feeling most hats have and it will stay in place very well. Once warmed up you'll forget you're wearing it. The adjustment mechanism is a knob style and works smoothly and has positive click stops. It has clip slots for ear muffs. It fits my Peltors but because the rolled rim blocks the bottom of the slot some brands of muff may not fit. They are made of good thick aluminum, fit well and are tightly riveted to the hat. I bought the orange one. It is NOT painted - it has a powder coating and very thick too. It should last a long time.
