From the first stroke, I knew I had found "THE FILE" I was looking for. The file bit right in and cut, no skipping or sawing back and forth as I had to do with another brand file. Just remember to keep the file clean as it is agressive and can load up. I sharpen on the saw as opposed to removing the chain to use the bench grinder which is then used when I really "rock" a chain . The flat mill file is really super cutting down the rakers. I highly recomend getting both the simplfy chain maintenence. FRED M. CT

This is by far the best file I have ever used. Very aggressive and last a long time. If you have been disappointed by files you owe it to yourself to try this one.
