Haix 602503 Airpower Gold Chainsaw Cut-Resistant Class 1 Protective Boots

At just about 7" tall, the Haix Airpower Gold chainsaw boots are a great choice for either ground work or tree climbing. They’re super lightweight and feature Haix's patented Airpower foot-beds for total, 3-dimensional arch support. They feature Kevlar protection against cuts and are certified with cut category 1 (20m/second). Incredibly comfortable, these hybrid boots feature high quality breathable leather, with a 4-layer waterproof breathable GORE-TEX laminate. The 100% waterproof system guarantees dry feet all day long, whatever the weather. Highly abrasion-resistant with a fleece midlayer and optimized for all season comfort. Protective steel toe caps and steel protective throughsoles that are puncture resistant to meet ASTM F2413-05, CAN/CSA Z 195-2009 standards. Not only for forestry pros, these boots are a perfect choice of chainsaw boots for arborists and tree climbers, with well designed soles for foot locking.

Q.	Is it true that these run a little larger in size?
A.	From the sound of the previous customer they do. However it seems every manufacturer has slightly different standards. You should order your normal size and plan a boot sock.

Q.	I currently own a pair of Husqvarna Light 28. Very NOT comfortable! :) I'm thinking of buying these to increase comfort but I wonder how they compare in protection. I see they have a class 1 cut protection. My husqy have a class 3 protection I believe. Is there a big difference between class 1 and 3? I know it's 20m/s vs 28m/s but does this mean that one won't prevent my feet from being cut and the other will?? Also, are the haix boots using a steel or composite toe protection? Thanks!

Q.	You not ship to Canada
A.	Yes, we do ship The Airpower Gold Haix boot to Canada. When a Canadian places an order the item comes directly from Haix to our warehouse in California. From there it is bundled with other orders and crosses the Northern border. It will arrive by Canada Post.

Very solid comfortable boots

I have had these boots for a month and a half and they are very comfortable and breath well. These boots also seem very well made and I may just buy another pair because it's hard to find a good reliable boot that has good mobiity.

Haix boots

The boot is well designed, but I ordered too large a boot, these are very large sizes. I usually wear 11D in most cheaper boots and 10-1/2D in ECCO boots. These are larger than any boot I have ever bought at comparable sizes, I could prob. get by with 10D on this one so be aware and try some on somewhere if you can. The arch supports are probably ok for most feet but I have high arches and will need to supplement this. I think these will be great this winter when I am wearing thicker socks. The overall feel of this boot is pretty good after break in period

Haix Boots

Best boots I have ever owned! They are amazing! Excellent craftsmanship. Light, very comfortable, snug yet roomy fit, warm in winter, and cool in summer. The leather is the best I have seen. All my life I have waited for a well engineered boot, and here they are! Life changing!
