5/8" Yale Polydyne Bull Rope
Polydyne does virtually everything Double Esterlon does, but allows you to drop bigger wood, increasing productivity. Polydyne has a much higher working energy absorption meaning you can do more to the rope without damaging it. The cover of this double braid is identical to Yale's Double Esterlon, right down to the tree grade Maxijacket coating, the toughest in the industry. The secret is all in the core which in the case of Polydyne is high tenacity tire grade nylon. Nylon provides the energy absorption advantage and allows the rope to stretch more in its early load cycle. Even if you use Double Esterlon for rigging line consider Polydyne deadeyes; as they dynamically load a very short length of rope.Average Breaking Strength: 18,000 lbs.
