Great idea ... falls short

I was all over this when I saw it. I even liked most of the design when it came. Problem I found quickly was: My fold out small screwdriver was made from maybe... tin? And my allen wrench was twisted and bent at the working end(not heat treated type or molded - it was like it was snapped off at the manufacturer). Also, I haven't pulled it apart/disassembled yet to utilize the swivel part of the fold out socket that is another smaller socket for a spark plug, as well. Not what I want to have to do in some situations-like up top, possibly dropping needed pieces. If you have a Stihl 020T, like me up top, you will be flipping the socket around between spark plug and chain adjustments. Like I said "great idea" and I will be using it and it will save some space, but to be "5 star" in my realm, it is going to need some more thought and definitely better parts/manufacturing.You get what you pay for, even though there is only one out there at present. In it's behalf: It is only product for this low price. Instead of the price of a highly developed Leatherman/Gerber type tool.

GREAT TOOL!

I am not normally a big fan of "multi-tools", but this is a well thought-out piece of engineering. And no cost engineer has fiddled with this for manufacturing efficiencies and shaving pennies for the accountants. For instance, the 13mm/half inch socket is solidly welded full-circle with a generous fillet, when a couple of spot welds would have done the job. I can really crank on the bar nuts without worrying about the socket tearing off, plus the sparkplug socket folds out completely to give extra leverage. The file holder actually works (with different size holes on either side of the 13mm socket to accommodate the taper of the file, and the socket protects my fingers from the chain). There are washers between all the tools to allow easy retrieval and minimize binding. The handle is a thick piece of steel and the plating is of high quality. Plus it comes with a nice belt pouch. You can find videos by searching TopSaw on the web which show the tool in action. Highly recommended.
