| Q. |
The Bosch WSR6F says to use WSR7F, WSR7F says to use WSR6F. Which is the best plug for a Husqvarna 535?
|
| A. |
The WSR6F is recommended generally for all saws if you are using Bosch plugs because of the resistor. The WS7F does not have a resistor. Not having a resistor can interfere with certain frequencies of radio waves.

| Q. |
In your description for the ws7f plug, it says Husqvarna recommends the wsr6f. In this description, for the wsr6f, you've got a recommendation for the ws7f in the Husqvarna saws. This seems to be a bit confusing, what was the official word? I know the only difference is in the resistor, and heat range, as the physical size is the same. I'd rather run a hotter plug, but was made to understand Bosch lists their plug ranges with the higher number designation as being the hotter, can you confirm? I'm running Husqvarna 359s and 372s. Thanks.

Good question: for years we have used both in both Husky and Stihls without any comments on noticeable performance difference. For Husky's, if you don't care about the resistor then the WS7F will work. However, the WS6RF has been our "universal" for years.

| Q. |
Which Bosch plug is recommended for a Jonsered 630?
|
| A. |
A good rule of thumb for choosing the right plug for your chainsaw is plan on using the WSR6F for EPA chainsaws. Use the WS7F for non EPA chainsaws.

| Q. |
Is this the proper spark plug for the HUSQ 372xp, even though it is not a "resistor" type plug or should it be the WSR7F? Husqvarna recommends the Champoin RCJ7Y (resistor) plug.
|
| A. |
WS7F would be the closest non resistor plug to the RCJ7Y. Bosch doesn't make a WSR7F and the WSR6F would be the closest if you need a resistor plug.

This plug is the one we recommend for Stihl applications as a rule. We also carry the NGK equivalent also recommended by Stihl - NGK BPMR7A.

| Q. |
what is the best spark plug and gap setting for a husqvarna 455 Rancher (2011) and a husqvarna cd2100 (1985).
|
| A. |
For the newer EPA models we'd suggest the WSR6F. For the older non-EPA models like the CD2100 use the WS7F.
