From the bottom of the handle to the top bend in the hook is 11-3/4". From the handle to the point of the hook is 10-1/2".

Wow, that's a first. Though we carry the replacement tips, just don't carry the handle part. Your best bet would be to replace the pulp hook. Especially knowing the handle was torn from it. It may be weak in that area and not be as reliable as you have gotten used to.

I have been suffering with tendonitis in my fingers due to handling large amounts of firewood, I was unsure of these but had to try them anyway. I discovered that it is less painfull on my fingers and now I can lift much heavier chunks as well because I don't need to bend over as far, I now lift more with my legs instead of my back. I cut most wood 24"-36" in length and don't hardly split any of it for my Central Boiler outdoor furnace, these hooks work well for loading and unloading and stacking, with a little practice you can just barely stick the wood and then unstick the hooks with a snap of the wrist as you throw the log into place. Also you can drag long logs closer to truck before cutting to length and you can also carry two blocks of wood at the same time.

I read other reviews around the net and had to try for myself. They are well worth it. I am going to be buying additional hooks for when I have people helping me. They save your back and they save your hands. You will love them.
