Q.	Does this guide work on all brands of chain or only on Oregon chain? Also, any idea when, or if, a version designed for full skip chain will come out?
A.	This is a new product and more info will be available soon. It works on any brand of chain, but it is made for square chisel filing using a single bevel file is listed in the related items. The product also comes with two files to get you started. This is not a guide for round file chain.

Q.	What pitch chain does this product work with?
A.	This version works with standard 3/8" (.375") full comp chain. It will not work with Low Profile 3/8" chain, nor does it work with skip chain. More versions are still being made. To search for all models, once they become available, simply use "ATOP" in the search field.

Q.	Will this sharpener work on Stihl 33RSF chains?
A.	Greetings - That is a skip chain, so the sharpener will not work. It only works on full comp (maximum number of teeth) 3/8" pitch chain.

Q.	Will this jig fit on all bar sizes, .050, .058, .063? Do they make a jig yet that will work with semi-skip and full skip chain?
A.	Greetings - Yes, it will work on any gauge 3/8" pitch full comp chain. If and when new models are released we will advertise them via our catalog and website. If you are on our mailing list you will know once they are released.

Q.	Greetings from Butte Montana. This looks like a great tool, but the owners manual indicates only 3 to 5 sharpenings total. I'm not understanding why this unit would be so aggresive that your chain is shot after a max of 5 sharpenings. Or is that 5 sharpenings and much more if they are just a touch up? Thanks for the help Keep the chips flying, Medicine Bow forestry
A.	Translations are tough. I took it that they were trying to state the max number of sharpenings between filing out the gullet.

Q.	Is there any possibility that Atop square filing guide will come down in price? $200.00 for a manual guide seem pretty high.
A.	Hopefully as more folks buy it they will make more at a better cost for us and then we can pass the savings along to you. This is a precision piece of sharpening equipment to achieve a radically fast cutting edge. It shouldn't be compared with the standard round filing guides prices.
