Stihl to Husky Bar Adaptor Plate

This adaptor allows you to run 12mm Stihl mount chainsaw bars on many Husqvarna chainsaws. This is great for those operators who run both brands of saws, because you only need one type of bar now, one with a 12mm Stihl mount. This adaptor works best with the WoodsmanPRO chainsaw bars because the 12mm Stihl mount is machined longer to give you more adjustment room. The bar plate adaptor will fits saws with 9mm studs approximately 1-3/4" apart. Please check your saw before ordering. Important Note: Not all bar mounts are manufactured the same. Some bars may require adjuster holes to be slightly enlarged for bar adjuster tab to fit.

Husqvarna 365, 570, 371, 372, 575, 385, 390, 394 and 395

Q.	Will this fit an EFCO model 181?
A.	This bar adapter plate should work on Efco 181 models that were manufactured after 2007.

Q.	I would like to know if this product will fit a solo 603 is your measurement of 1-3/4 from center to center or end to end of stud ? thanks, mike
A.	We haven't tried it, but a good rule of thumb is that if the measurements are 1 3/4" from center to center and studs are the 9mm studs it will probably fit.

A.	Sorry, it is an idea of trying to take something smaller and make it fit on something very large. There are no adapters for this.

Q.	Will this adapter fit a Husky 268? Studs are 9mm and stud spacing is 1-3/4" at the outsides.
A.	Sorry it won't work with the 268. The measurement is center to center.

Q.	Another post said won't fit Dolmar 64/7900 as the stud centers are different. Can the adaptor be saw cut and then fit to the studs?tks, kevin j
A.	If you are trying to mount a Stihl mount bar on there ,you can grind or cut the 'C' ends off the adapter or you can get some sleeves from any hardware store to go over you bar studs then grind them to the thickness of your bar.

Q.	Is there bar adapters for smaller saw mounts, ie a 346 or the newer 550? I want to conver the smaller stilhl bars I have to a 550 husky.
A.	Sorry there is nothing available yet to convert the small mounts.

The studs are mounted too far away from the sprocket, it's not even close. The bar fits fine, but the chain is not long enough. Tried with a 28" and 25" Stihl bar. Also, there is no room left to tighten the nuts on the clutch cover with this.
A.	This adapter works best with WoodsmanPRO chainsaw bars. With other brands you will have to cut both ends of the adapter off (the large round holes on the ends), file them smooth. Then it will mount and you will have the adjustment you need.

Doesn't work on a Husqvarna 390XP

I have a 390 and bought this adapter, and it does not fit at all. The studs are mounted too far away from the sprocket, it's not even close. The bar fits fine, but the chain is not long enough. Tried with a 28" and 25" Stihl bar. Also, there is no room left to tighten the nuts on the clutch cover with this. Waste of time.
