  • Important Handle Information: All measurements above are approximate, and can vary slightly from handle to handle, as wood shrinks and swells due to grain structure, moisture content and humidity. Axe handle manufacturing produces a wide variety of handles with different grain patterns and colors. We only offer premium grade handles from top manufacturers, but each wooden handle is a unique product, which will perform in it's own unique way.

  • Handle Replacement Instructions: To replace a wooden handle, first clean the eye thoroughly. Store the handle overnight in a warm, dry room to ensure dryness. Fit the new handle with a rasp or sandpaper. The handle should be driven tight into head. Drive the wooden wedge into the cut slot as deep as possible, and saw the extra wood (both handle and wedge) flush with the head.
