|Q.||How can I tell what my current pitch is on my Oregon chain. Does the number stamped on the drive link tell me how many drive links there are on the chain?|
|A.||The way Oregon shows the pitch & gauge is that number stamped on the drive link. In this case 72 means .375 x .050. 7 indicates .375 and the 2 means .050. So the 72 on your drive link doesn't mean how many drivers on your chain, though there are 72 drive link chains, it merely converges at that point.|
